No jewellery house takes its pieces back. We do — because real 925 silver never stops being worth something, and we are not afraid to prove it. Imitation cannot make this promise. Only real silver can.
The Promise
SKI Silverz will buy back any piece of the house — for life. Not as store policy fine print, but as proof of what your jewellery is made of: real silver and real stones hold real value, and the house stands behind that value for as long as you own the piece.
What We Pay
Your piece is weighed and verified in front of you, and its buyback value is calculated openly:
- Silver — full weight at the prevailing silver rate published by the house on the day of buyback. If silver has risen since you bought, your buyback value rises with it.
- Gemstones & Kundan — valued and included.
- Craftsmanship — making charges are returned less a 30% deduction. This is the only deduction we take.
Trade up instead, and lose nothing: take your buyback value as credit toward any new piece of the house, and we waive the craftsmanship deduction entirely.
Payment is made by UPI or bank transfer within 48 hours of verification.
The Conditions — plainly
- The piece must be undamaged: stones intact, no breaks, and no alterations or repairs by another jeweller.
- Natural tarnish never counts against you. Silver breathes and darkens with time; a polish restores it. Tarnish is not damage.
- Bring the piece with its stock code and your invoice. Every SKI Silverz piece is one of one and known to the house by its code.
- Custom and personalised pieces are assessed case by case, at the house’s discretion.
- Weighing, verification and valuation are carried out by the house and are final.
Why We Can Make This Promise
A buyback promise is the one guarantee imitation jewellery can never copy. Plated and artificial pieces are worth nothing once they leave the shop — which is why no one offers to buy them back. Our pieces are 925 silver with certified stones; their value survives the sale. When we promise to buy your jewellery back at the day’s rate, we are simply telling you, in money rather than words, that it is exactly what we said it was.
